Vitamin B information is necessary in order to know its health benefits. It is important to understand that vitamin B can help maintain total body health and growth. Vitamin B is composed of several specific nutrients. These are vitamins B1 or thiamine, B2 riboflavin, B3 niacin, B5, B6, and B12. They are collectively known as vitamin B complex.

Vitamin B complex is a recent discovery. Some decades ago, scientist believed that vitamin B is composed only of a single nutrient. Through research, other types of vitamin B have been discovered and found out to deliver specific benefits for the body. Vitamin B is also a water soluble nutrient. It means it can easily be absorbed by your system through water and body fluids. And because it is water soluble, it can also be easily excreted. This minimizes the risk of excess vitamin B intake.

This vitamin helps in the digestion process. It stimulates gastric juices which are needed for proper digestion. Vitamin B is also help the body absorb more macro-nutrients. The liver benefits also from vitamin B. By helping in the digestive processes, vitamin B enables the liver to filter more wastes and body toxins. If body wastes are thoroughly processed, the overall condition of the body will certainly improve.

It also promotes cell rejuvenation. This is made possible by the ability of Vitamin B to assist in generating new cell growth. If more healthy cells will grow, the resistance of the body also increases. That is why vitamin B can boost energy. Young children especially infants need vitamin B in order to grow quickly. It can assist other nutrients in developing the bones. It does not only boost energy, it can also promote faster growth.

Vitamin B can really promote good health. Proper vitamin B information could guide you about its general benefits.

By: Tony Farrell

Vitamins

Here are some of the vitamins and minerals you should be taking to help you get rid of acne.

* B6, 25 – 150 mg in a B vitamin complex
* B5 pantothenic acid, 500 – 1000 mg per day
* Vitamin A (water soluble), 50,000 IU – take just before meals. Taking more than 50,000 IU requires a Doctors approval
* Vitamin C, buffered 1000mg three time a day
* Vitamin E, 400 IU two times a day before meals for a total of 800 IU a day.

A word of caution: Do not take more than 50, 000 unit of vitamin A since it can be toxic at higher levels. If you experience any symptoms with 50,000 vitamin back off to 25,000 units.

Minerals

Here are them most important minerals to take when you have acne.

* Calcium Hydroxyapatite Complex – a tablet after each meal.
* Chromium 200 – 500 ugm or micrograms a day
* Mineral electrolytes
* Zinc gluconate 25 – 60 mg a day (zinc is one of the most important nutrient to add to your diet) Zinc works to reduce the male sex hormone dihyrdrotestosterone (DHT), which in excess will produce acne. Do not take over 100 mg unless you consult with a Doctor.

Word of Caution: After you have gain relief from acne, you can discontinue the use of the above supplements and get back to your normal supplementation program. Continual use of high doses of vitamins and minerals will offset you natural body’s chemical balance and is detrimental to your health in the long run.

Other Supplements

There are seven special supplements that you should consider taking that can help you get rid of acne and to improve your overall health. These supplements will improve your immune system and help to clear and prevent future acne. Look at these supplements and take the one or ones that you feel will give you the most health benefits.

* Oxygen Elements Plus
* Electrolyte Minerals
* Systemic Enzymes
* Digestive enzymes
* Flax Seed Oil
* Lecithin
* Chlorophyll and Lemon

Oxygen Elements Plus (only this nutrient is discussed in this article)

The skin needs plenty of oxygen to keep it clean and free of bacteria. Using a product like Oxygen Elements Plus gives you at least 10-20% more oxygen in your blood. Here’s where to get Oxygen Plus. The plus in this product are added minerals and other nutrients.

Increasing the oxygen in your blood is now a necessity for normal health. Your body needs more oxygen than you presently get from the air you breathe so that your body functions normally.

The amount of oxygen you have in your body that is available to you cells is dependent on many things such as,

* Acid in the body
* Nonfood waste products
* Pathogens in the body

These three items, acid, nonfoods, and pathogens use up your oxygen. The oxygen that is left over is then used for your body’s needs. So the more you have of these three items, the less oxygen you will have to supply your body’s needs. This results in more toxins in the blood and can prevent you having an acne free face.

By: Rudy Silva

Discount vitamins are the ones that one can easily purchase for everyday consumption. Several studies are conducted regularly to make sure that people stay healthier.

These days, people are provided enough information about nutrients supplements and vitamins, in conjunction with their specific effect on health.

If you really want discount vitamins to benefit your health, you must know the difference between water and fat-soluble vitamins, the function of different vitamins on our bodies, the sources of these vitamins and the reasons one may not be getting adequate vitamins.

First, most people are not aware of the difference between water-soluble vitamins and fat-soluble vitamins. One needs to replenish water-soluble vitamins such as A, D, E and K are stored in the fatty tissue and liver of the body. Consuming excess fat soluble vitamins can cause them to get stored in the body and result in toxic in case the body is unable to eliminate them in the same pace they are consumed.

Remember that all vitamins are important for good health. The deficiency of any of these vitamins will result in major health problems. You should know the amount of vitamins a body requires prior to going for a supplement program. You should also know the function of each vitamin on our bodies.

Here is information on all the topics mentioned above.

a)	Vitamin A

This vitamin is important to undertake several functions in the body. It provides good eyesight, bone development, tooth development and cell division. It helps in maintaining the moisture in the skin, eyes and other mucous membranes. You can get this vitamin from fruits and vegetables, especially if they are yellow or orange in color, green or leafy.

One must not get more than 3,000 micrograms of vitamin on a daily basis according to USDA. Deficiency of this vitamin will result in night blindness, impaired vision, digestive problems or skin problems.

b)	Vitamin B

It is a water soluble vitamin. Hence, there is no need to worry about toxic levels of these vitamins. However, you need to replace the vitamin to the body on a regular basis. This vitamin is actually a group of eight vitamins. These vitamins are important for healthy skin, increased metabolism, good muscle tone, stronger immune and nervous systems. It also reduces stress and depression. You can find the vitamin in fish, seafood, yellow fruit, green leafy vegetables, milk and brown rice.

c)	Vitamin C

This vitamin is known as ascorbic acid. It is extremely essential for maintenance of normal connective tissue and the formation of collagen. It also increases the absorption of iron in the diet. You can find this vitamin in abundance in berries and raw vegetables.

d)	Vitamin D

This is a fat soluble vitamin and essential for development of healthy bones and teeth. Best and common sources of this vitamin are sunlight and fortified milk. You can also get this vitamin from fish oils and eggs.

e)	Vitamin E

You can find this vitamin in vegetable oil, whole grains, green leafy vegetables, nuts and egg yolk. It reduces the effects of oxidation to the cells and organs and cells. Daily dose of this vitamin can help in maintaining younger looking appearance. It also reduces aging of the internal systems of the body.

What are the B complex vitamin benefits? There are many different benefits to the B vitamins that combined will leave you healthier, feeling better and looking better. It is important to not just take one B vitamin, but to take the entire range of B vitamins, collectively known as the B complex.

These different vitamins are all labeled as being part of one vitamin complex because they were originally thought to be just one individual vitamin. The different vitamins are so closely related and served such similar functions that it was hard to differentiate between them. However, they are indeed all chemically different and to receive the full range of b complex vitamin benefits you need to have all of them in your body.

The B vitamin complex includes B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9 and B12. Some of these have familiar names that you may recognize on its own, such as thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), niacin (B3) or folic acid (B9).

The reason the numbers are separated is because in between are other members of the B vitamin complex that are not truly vitamins. This includes, for example, particular compounds that are actually produced within the body naturally and therefore can not be an actual vitamin.

The B complex vitamin benefits are far reaching. You can increase your metabolism by taking B complex vitamins in two ways. First, you’ll increase the speed and efficiency that you convert carbohydrates into glucose. Then, you’ll increase the speed and efficiency that you convert glucose into energy.

B complex vitamin benefits also include improving digestion. This not only aids your metabolism, but also ensures the proper uptake of other healthy nutrients from your foods that could otherwise be wasted.

This is why B vitamins are such great ingredients for multi nutrient supplements. You don’t want any of the nutrients you take in a supplement to be wasted. The B vitamin complex will help prevent that, as it ensures the proper digestion, absorption and uptake of many different nutrients throughout your body and bloodstream.

The B complex can help you fight off types of cancer, specifically pancreatic cancer. It can also help you stay healthy by improving your immune system. Even your heart will benefit, as B vitamins have been shown to have an effect in reducing cardiovascular disease. Additionally, another one of the B complex vitamin benefits is that it can help you cope with and prevent depression, anxiousness and stress.

These are just a few of the many B complex vitamins benefits. When you take these vitamins with a complete multi nutrient supplement, they will also help all of the other nutrients be used effectively. That’s why finding a multi nutrient supplement including the full range of B vitamins is so important and can serve as a one stop solution for all of your nutritional supplement needs.

It rarely makes sense to take individual vitamins and minerals. A multi-nutrient formula with 60 or 70 ingredients including herbal extracts, amino acids and enzymes will always provide more benefits. If you have tried vitamins in the past, but benefited little, this is probably why. My website discusses this in more detail.

Also known as cobalamin, vitamin B12 is a part of the b vitamin family which helps to keep the body in good shape. Foods such as meat, eggs, fish and live have adequate levels of vitamin B12. Even though a small amount of B12 is required by the body it should be taken daily. Without the help of the intrinsic factor in the stomach vitamin B12 can’t be taken in by the body. Even though it is possible to get too much of B12 in your daily consumption it won’t cause any problems in your body since only half of it is absorbed by the body. Vitamin B12 can also be reused by the human body.

How Does Vitamin B12 Help the Body

There are four areas where vitamin B12 benefit’s the human body:

1. Vitamin B12 is essential to helping the body convert carbohydrates, fats and proteins into energy.

2. Vitamin B12 can help prevent heart disease by helping to keep red blood cells healthy.

3. Vitamin B12 helps the white blood cells which as a result helps prevent disease through a healthy immune system.

4. Vitamin B12 is required to form a protective shield around nerve cells which is especially important in the brain. If there is an absence of B12 and this protective shield isn’t maintained then brain malfunction can occur.

Anemia can result if a person doesn’t have sufficient levels of vitamin B12 in their system. A lack of B12 causes a reduction in red blood cells which leads to anemia. Kids who are not fed properly will develop anemia. In addition, if a persons body doesn’t have a sufficient intrinsic factor to help B12 be absorbed by the body then anemia can result.

If a person is a vegetarian then they should take B12 supplements. To help babies grow in the womb, pregnant women should also take extra B12 supplements. The intrinsic factor in the body is decreased in people over fifty years of age so they may have problems absorbing large amounts of B12. For this reason people over fifty should consider B12 supplements so that they can reduce their chances of developing anemia and other health problems.
